Three teens arrested in Sunday armed robbery at Kilgore EZ-Mart

KILGORE (KYTX) - On Sunday, December 29, 2013, at 2:58 a.m. Kilgore Police responded to EZ Mart (convenience store), 600 Houston St., Kilgore, Texas due to an armed robbery.

Police arrived and met with the store clerk who reported three persons had just robbed the store and fled. Initial investigation revealed the three persons approached the store with one remaining outside. Two entered and one pointed a handgun at the store clerk. The clerk was forced to open the register and fill a bag with cash and tobacco products.

All three fled the scene and the clerk was left unharmed.

Kilgore Police Department Detective John Rowe responded to the scene to investigate. Through evidence on scene, including video evidence, the suspects were soon identified as Kabreun Brager, 18, of Kilgore, a 16-year-old male juvenile from Kilgore, and a 15-year-old male juvenile from Duncanville.

Kabreun Brager was soon arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Possession of Marijuana. Brager was booked into the Kilgore Municipal Jail and bonds were set at $100,000 and $2,500, respectively.

Both juvenile suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Gregg County Juvenile Detention Center. Both were also charged with Aggravated Robbery.

The handgun and some stolen property were recovered by police.
