Legal victory for Jahi's family

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - The family of a California girl who was declared brain dead after a tonsillectomy is celebrating a legal victory.

Monday night, a judge extended a temporary restraining order to keep Jahi McMath on life support. The order came about an hour before the hospital could have pulled the plug. Jahi's family says she is moving and responding to her mother's voice, but several doctors and an independent neurologist have said she is brain dead.

The family wants to move Jahi to another hospital in New York.
