Southwest Airlines jet heads back into service

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - The Southwest Airlines jet that landed at the wrong airport is heading back into service.

The plane safely took off from the Missouri Airport Monday. Southwest says it is going back into the rotation. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating how a commercial airliner could land at the incorrect location.
Southwest says it has suspended the pilot and first officer pending its own investigation.
