Nacogdoches K-9 leads officers to drug arrest

NACOGDOCHES, TX.  (KYTX) - Nacogdoches Police arrested a 35 year old Cincinnati, Ohio man after approximately ½ pound of suspected powder cocaine was found in his vehicle.

NPD officers stopped a 1997 Cadillac driven by Eric Jarman, Jr. in the 3000 block of Southwest Stallings Drive for a traffic violation.  Officers detected suspicious activity and NPD's K-9 was deployed. After an alert by the K-9, officers located ½ pound of suspected cocaine in the trunk of the vehicle, along with a loaded handgun.

Jarman was arrested and placed in the Nacogdoches County Jail. The case was investigated by NPD K-9 Unit and Street Crimes Unit.
