Texas Department of Public Safety:

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today announced that two individuals on Texas 10 Most Wanted lists were captured recently. Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Anthony Lee Evans, 33, was arrested on Thursday in Big Spring; and Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Alonzo Bradley Jr., 40, was arrested Sunday in Texarkana, Texas.

Evans, a known Bloods gang member with a violent criminal past, was arrested Thursday when the DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and the Texas Highway Patrol, along with the U.S. Marshals Service (Northern District of Texas) and Big Spring Police Department, located him at an apartment complex in Big Spring. He was taken into custody without incident. Evans was wanted for parole violation. The arrest was the result of a tip, and a reward up to $7,500 will be paid. For more information, see the captured bulletin at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/capturedDetails.aspx?id=228.

Bradley was arrested by DPS CID in Texarkana on Sunday evening when he turned himself in at the DPS office in Texarkana.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bi-State Jail in Texarkana for processing.  Bradley has a violent criminal past, and was wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration and failure to appear. Tip information was received, which resulted in Bradley turning himself in, and a reward up to $2,000 will be paid. For more information, see the captured bulletin at:

http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/SexOffenderDetails.aspx?id=227.

These arrests bring the 2014 arrest total to four for the Texas 10 Most Wanted program. In 2013, DPS and other agencies arrested an all-time record of 32 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders. Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor's Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
