KILGORE (KYTX) - A Liberty City man is in jail on $30,000 bond tonight, charged with shooting a pistol at least twice at his son during a dispute Friday.

According to a probable cause report, Gregg County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a armed subject in the 2500 block of FM 1252 just after 9 Friday night. The victim told deputies that his biological father shot a pistol at him several times during a disturbance between the two at their home, after the father had yelled at him. Deputies found a bullet hole in the ceiling of the house and two spent shell casings, as well as a .40-caliber Sauer P239 pistol.

James Glynn Brumley, 63, was arrested and charged with first degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a family member.
