Over 200 pounds of marijuana found in Gladewater home

GLADEWATER (KYTX) - A Gregg County man is jailed on several drug charges after deputies discovered more than 200 pounds of marijuana inside a house located at 166 Spokane Street.

Gregg County Sheriff's office reports at about 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 15th, Deputies responded to a suspicious person call.

While speaking with the complainant, Deputies noticed the odor of marijuana and asked for consent to search the residence. Upon the resident refusing consent, a warrant was obtained and Deputies subsequently located over 212 pounds of marijuana valued at nearly $130,000.

Also found on the property were digital scales, a grinder and five firearms.

Thirty-seven year old Patrick Charles Christian was arrested for possession of marijuana,  and transported to the Gregg County Jail.

Christian's bond has been set at $10,000.
