Jarvis Christian College announces Adult Education Program

Posted: Updated:

WOOD COUNTY (KYTX)-  According to Dorothy Langley, the JRP coordinator, "this program offers courses in a non-traditional learning environment for working adults."

The core courses such as science, English and Religion will be offered first for those students aged 24 and older who have never attended college or who already have a few hours.  Langley adds that "the program provides the opportunity for adults to go back to college for degree completion in Business or Criminal Justice" for now.

Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings or on Saturdays as well as online.  The course delivery is designed to meet the needs of adults through the flexibility of face-to-face, hybrid and online classes during the evenings and Saturdays.

Jarvis will host an information meeting about the JRP on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Jarvis CTC building located on the campus in Hawkins.

For more information, call Langley at (903) 930-4890 ext. 2904 or via email at jrp@jarvis.edu.
