Kilgore Police capture wanted suspect and arrest 2 others on drug charges

KILGORE POLICE DEPARTMENT:

KPD STAR Team Captures Wanted Subject and Seizes Methamphetamine

After a subject identified as Dustin Rhan Lay, 26 years of age, of Kilgore, Texas evaded arrest by police due to an active warrant, the STAR Team was activated and assigned to locate him. On Tuesday, March 25, 2014 the STAR Team located Dustin Lay at 502 Higginbotham Road, Kilgore, Texas. Dustin Lay was located in back bedroom of the residence and taken into custody. During a search of his person upon being arrested, Dustin Lay was found in possession of .5 grams of methamphetamine. He was charged with Gregg County Warrant MTR/POCS Misdemeanor A, Gregg County Warrant Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle Felony 3 and Possession of a Controlled Substance POCS State Jail Felony. While at the residence 24.5 grams of methamphetamine and .5 grams of methamphetamine were recovered in two different locations. Residents of the home identified as Kristan Noelke, 25 years of age and Brandi Nicole Foster, 19 years of age were both arrested and booked into the Kilgore City Jail. Noelke was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance POCS State Jail Felony. Foster was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance POCS Felony 2.

Great job by the STAR team members: Lt. Johnathan Gage, Cpl. Stephen Goodson, TFO Daniel Morgan and K9 Officer Brady Middlebrooks. Also a great job by those who assisted: Sergeant Mitch Autrey, Officer Joseph Harrison, Sergeant Vance Callahan and Officer Jason Romine.
