Foul play not suspected in body found on Lake Wright Patman

Bowie Co. Sheriff's Office:

BOWIE COUNTY, TX. - On 03-26-14 around 9:26 A.M. Bowie County deputies were notified by two boaters of an unattended boat going in circles on Lake Wright Patman close to the Clear Springs area.

By the time deputies arrived, the two boaters had located the operator of the unattended vessel floating face down in the water and brought him to shore.

The person found in the water was later identified as 71-year-old Larry Kim Scrivner, of Texarkana, Texas.

The Life Net personnel who attended Mr. Scrivner found that he had passed away.

Mr. Scrivner's body has been sent to Dallas for an autopsy, and there are no signs of foul play in this case.
