Tickets going quick for Sinatra tribute fund raiser

Posted: Updated:

LINDALE (KYTX) - You only have until 10 p.m. Thursday night to get your tickets for a special Sinatra-themed show, held for a special cause.

When you hear Carlo D'Angelo's voice, you'll be shocked his profession does not involve singing.

He's actually an East Texas criminal defense lawyer, who has always loved music. He says he has specifically loved Sinatra since he was a child.

After moving to Tyler from Florida, he quickly became an integral part of the Lindale Community Theater. The organization just moved locations, and the new theater is in a 100-year-old building. Hundreds of hours of manpower has gone into fixing the building up.

As a fundraiser for the organization, which is entirely run by volunteers, D'Angelo helped put together "Sinatra: A Man and his Music." The show highlights Sinatra's life and best songs. Every dime raised will go to the theater and all its future shows.

It's a one time show on Saturday night, March 29. The event is catered, so in order to make preparations, you must buy your $50 ticket by Thursday night.
