Man unhappy with service assaults store manager

 TYLER (KYTX) - A 72-year-old man unhappy with the service at a local computer shop assaulted the store manager and then made off with two items before being arrested by Tyler Police.

Police report at approximately 3:35 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a Robbery at the CPU Store located at 201 Rice Road in Tyler, Texas.  

The suspect, identified as Bernard Mitchell, a white male 72 years of age, was upset with the service that was provided.  

Mitchell walked around the store counter and assaulted the Store Manager.  Mitchell struck the manager several times to the head with his fist.  The manager was sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

 After the assault, Mitchell stole two computer motherboards from the store while leaving.

Mitchell sustained a laceration to his head from the incident. Mitchell was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  

Mitchell was arrested and will be booked into Smith County Jail for Robbery. Mitchell was charged with Robbery due to the fact he committed an Assault during the commission of a theft.
