LUFKIN (KYTX) - A Lufkin woman has been arrested on a drug possession charge after she filed a report with police stating she had received "bad weed"

Lufkin police say they initially received a theft complaint from 37-year-old Evelyn Louise Hamilton.

When officers arrived on the scene at a residence in the 200 block of Forest Boulevard, it was determined Hamilton had purchased an amount of marijuana, and said she wanted her money back for what she called "bad weed".

Upon further investigation, Hamilton admitted she had marijuana on her hidden in her bra.

Hamilton was arrested for possession of marijuana and was taken to jail where she was booked on a $500.00 bond. She was released a short time later.
