Posted: Updated:

(TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - A Kilgore man has been found guilty of shooting a Tyler man during a drug robbery in 2012.

The verdict was reached moments ago in District Judge Christi Kennedy's court. A Smith County jury found 24-year-old Trent Mumphrey guilty, and jurors are now hearing evidence in the punishment phase of the case.

Mumphrey and several other co-defendants in the case were accused of robbing and shooting Dasha Webb during a robbery of drugs and money from Webb's home in Tyler.

Webb was left paralyzed as a result of the shooting.
