UPDATE: Harrison Co. Shooting Victim Pronounced Dead

HARRISON COUNTY (KYTX)- Marc Mathison, 51, was pronounced deceased at approximately 9:15 a.m., at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview after a shooting incident at a residence in the Hallsville area of Harrison County.

Harrison County 911 dispatchers received a call at approximately 7:50 a.m., regarding a shooting that had occurred at 541 Appaloosa Ln. in Hallsville.

The caller stated she had just shot Mathison twice and needed an ambulance and deputies.

The incident is under investigation and Investigators are currently conducting an interview with the female that called the 911 dispatchers.


 

HARRISON COUNTY (KYTX) - Harrison County 911 dispatchers received a call around 8:00 AM regarding a shooting in Hallsville.

The caller stated she had just shot 51-year-old Mark Mathison, twice and needed an ambulance and deputies. The shooting occurred at 541 Appaloosa Ln. in Hallsville. Mathison has been arrested in the past for the offense of retaliation, as well as aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

 

This incident is unfolding and an update will be sent as soon as more information is available.
