Silver Alert issued for missing 82-year-old woman with cognitive impairment

HOUSTON (KHOU) - The Harris County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing woman with cognitive impairment who was last seen Monday evening.

Ernestine King is described as a white female, 82 years old, 5' 5", 140 lbs, with red hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen Monday night at 7:30 p.m. in the 19000 block of Gagelake Lane. King was wearing a blue vest and a blue shirt. She was driving a blue 2007 Chevrolet Malibu with Texas license plate CY5X360.

According to law enforcement officials, King's disappearance poses a credible threat to her own health and safety.
