Shooting in Trinity leaves one dead, person of interest being sought

TRINITY (KYTX) - On April 28, 2014 at approximately 11:15 pm, Chief Jones and Officer Furguson responded to the sound of multiple gunshots and a subsequent report of someone possibly being shot.

36-year-old Antonio Clay, was found deceased at the scene with multiple gun shot wounds.

The shooting occurred on a private drive known as P. Gibson which is located off Walker Street, near Fairdale Street.

Trinity Police Chief Jones called on the assistance of our local Texas Rangers. Three Rangers arrived on scene to assist, as well as Sheriff Wallace's deputies and DA Schiro's investigator.

29-year-old Robert Corley, is a person of interest and currently being sought for questioning.

Pending a complete investigation limited information is being released about the shooting.

Chief Jones ask that you pray for the family of the deceased and that this tragedy can be resolved quickly and efficiently.
