Longview man could be deported after plea deal for restraining 15-year-old boy

Posted: Updated:
LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A Longview man gets probation -- for restraining a 15-year-old boy while dressed in women's clothing.
In January 2012, police said 41-year-old Sergio Antonio Galicia-Orozco dressed as a woman, met a 15-year-old boy on lazy lane in Longview, touched the boy's stomach and reached into his shorts.
Today, he pled guilty to unlawful restraint and got five years' probation under a plea deal.
"It is only with the victim's consent, this family's consent, that I follow the plea agreement," Gregg County 124th District Judge Alfonso Charles told Orozco during sentencing.
Orozco faced as much as 99 years in prison, but his attorney Tom Tibiletti worked a deal with prosecutor Pamela Ibeh to drop grand jury indictments of sexual assault and injury to people with mental deficiencies.
Orozco must register as a sex offender, pay court fines, and because he's not a U.S. citizen, he could face deportation.
