Small plane crashes into Colorado home

NORTHGLENN, Colo. (CBS4) – Nobody was seriously injured after a small plane crashed into a home in Adams County Monday afternoon.

The crashed happened at a home located in Northglenn in the 11000 block of Livingston Street near Claire Lane at approximately 3:45 p.m.

Extensive damage could be seen to both the plane and the home from Copter4 and both were on fire.

The single-engine plane was towing a banner when it had a mechanical problem. The pilot attempted to land the plane in a nearby field but crashed into the home.

Nobody was in the home at the time of the crash and the pilot was able to walk away. He’s been taken to the hospital as a precaution.
