2 Kids Hurt In NY Bounce House Accident

Posted: Updated:
SOUTH GLENS FALLS, NY (CNN) - An unbelievable story out of New York. Two children are seriously hurt after a gust of wind blows the bounce house they were in into the air.

"The first little boy came out, landed in the middle of the road right there, and the other little boy was the one I saw. He came down and hit his head off the back of my car right there, and then he landed on the ground," says Taylor Seymour. Her sister was also in the bounce house, but she only suffered minor scrapes and bruises.
After the boys were thrown from the bounce house, it continued to travel hundreds of feet. Both of the boys were airlifted to the hospital.
One of them had to be put into a medically induced coma.
This was the first time the owners of the bounce house had set it up at the apartment complex. Eyewitnesses say they saw them put it up correctly. The bounce house is about 10 feet by 10 feet with no roof.
