SHREVEPORT (FROM KTBS) - Two Shreveport men are in custody this morning after a multi-state, high speed chase.

According to the Longview Police Department it all began around 2:45 am in Longview. When officers arrived at the scene of the reported burglary, the suspects jump into their car and that's when the pursuit began. Longview P.D. and several other law enforcement agencies joined in on the chase that went down Interstate 20 into Shreveport. At their top speed, officers reported them driving more than 100 mph.

After reaching Shreveport, the suspects zig-zaged through the city before jumping out of the vehicle. That was the 2600 block of Quintin, near Hearne Avenue. Police say the two suspects are from the Cooper Road area of Shreveport. When officers examined the car, they found several items including stolen rims.

There's no word on what charges the men will face.
