Victims in Saturday Night Bryan Car Crash Remain Hospitalized

(KCEN) -- UPDATE: May 25, 2:08 p.m.

The victims involved in a Bryan car crash Saturday night remain hospitalized Sunday afternoon.

The 64-year-old female driver remains in critical condition at St. Joseph Hospital.

The 14-year-old boy has improved and is in stable condition at Dell's Children's Hospital.




(KCEN) -- Bryan Police reported a major accident in the 3000 block of Briarcrest around 2:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Officials reported a truck traveling east in that block of Briarcrest failed to yield at an intersection, striking a car traveling south on West Frontage Rd.

One juvenile male and an adult female occupied the car. They were both transported to St. Joseph Hospital in critical condition. The juvenile male was later flown to Dell Children's Hospital.

The intersection will be shut down until further notice. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
