Now is the time to make sure your car is ready for the summer driving season.  Before taking off, give your tires a check for proper inflation and tread wear.   Bad tires can lead to flats and blowouts.  Make sure your child's car seat and booster seat is properly installed.  Children should never be left alone in the car, even if the windows are partially open.  Leaving children in hot cars during the summer months can lead to heatstroke or - in the worst cases, death.  And never drive after drinking.  According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Drunk Driving fatalities spike around the summer holidays.
