Marshall Police K-9 'Sitta' passes away

MARSHALL (KYTX) - The Marshall Police Department and Officer Brandon Rousseau regretfully announce the passing of Sitta, his dedicated K-9 partner who faithfully served our agency from March 2007 to January 2014. Sitta passed on May 20, 2014 due to age related health problems.

The services for Sitta were held Tuesday May 27,

2014 at the Marshall Police K-9 Memorial site located at the end of Memorial Drive at Airport Park in Marshall, Texas. A funeral procession will leave the Marshall Police Department, located at 2101 E. End Blvd. N, at 08:30 a.m. Sitta will join other faithful K-9 officers who valiantly served the Marshall Police Department over the past years.
