Marine receives welcome home party in Longview

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A Marine received a hero's welcome at a Longview restaurant.

Three dozen people packed Whataburger on Fourth Street this afternoon for Lieutenant Marshall Jones. Lt. Jones returned home May 14 after spending nine months in Afghanistan.

His family says it was the first time he met his seven-month-old daughter, Anna Lynn.

The man was not hit, nor were postal customers or employees injured.More >>
