LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Two Louisiana men were in the Gregg County Jail this morning, after police say they went on a two-stop shoplifting spree in North Longview on Wednesday.

The men, identified as 30-year-old Micheal Lynn Taylor Jr. and 22-year-old Richard Cortez Lewis, both of Shreveport, are accused of stealing nearly $1,000 in merchandise at Longview Mall and Burlington Coat Factory. According to arrest records, surveillance video caught the men taking items at one store, and officers found merchandise in their Chrysler sedan with the tags still attached.

Bond was set at $1,500 for both men, who each face multiple theft charges. Lewis posted bond and was released from jail this afternoon.
