(TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - Several suspects dressed in ninja-type clothing wearing masks are being sought for a string of pharmacy burglaries in the Tyler and Smith County area in which they enter through the roof or a hole in a back wall of the building.

John Moore, Smith County Sheriff's Office spokesman, confirmed a new burglary this morning in the Gresham area at the First Family Pharmacy on Old Jacksonville Highway.

Moore said the sheriff's department is working the latest incident and is in the process of getting information to the media in relation to the cases.

Stacy Turner, First Family pharmacist, said the burglars knocked about a two-foot by two-foot hole in a rear wall, where the thieves gained access to a small office before making their way into the pahramcy.

She said there was no other damage to the building, but several odd things were taken and strangely the ninja-type thieves did not take any pain medications or high-powered narcotics.

Mrs. Turner said the burglars took antibiotics and all of the store's supply of Abilify, a strong anti-psychotic medication.

"I just hope no one needs them today, because we do not have any," she said.
