Rusk County Lt. David Marshall is Back in ETX After Lung Transplant

RUSK COUNTY (KYTX)- "David Marshall is out of the hospital and in his apartment. He will be there close to 3 months. He wants everybody to know how much this County means to him and his family and thanks for all the prayers and support each one of you have shown them," Rusk County Sheriffs Office said on their Facebook page six hours ago.

In May, CBS 19 learned of Lt. David Marshall's lung transplant operation that was needed. On May 23, a fundraiser was held for Lt. Marshall in Henderson.

According to Rusk County Sheriffs Office Facebook page, Lt. Marshall had his transplant May 11. Lt. Marshall was released from ICU, June 4 and was sent to a private room.
