Tyler Police looking for 3 men involved in early morning convenience store robbery

Posted: Updated:

(FROM TYLER POLICE): Tyler Police are looking for three suspects who robbed a convenience store early Wednesday morning. Just before 3 AM, officers responded to the K's Express Food Mart located at 1516 South Vine.

The clerk told officers that three white males entered the store, with their faces covered. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect carrying the gun then walked behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. He then handed the money to a second suspect who was standing on the other side of the counter. The third suspect stood by the door and acted as a “look-out”. All three suspects then exited the store and ran from the area on foot. No shots were fired and no one was injured during this incident.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000 or Tyler/Smith County Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF. Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any other felony case.
