JEFFERSON (KYTX) - Around East Texas ,-film crews are beginning to pop up for movie productions. Executive Producer David Ford is originally from Harleton, and chose to come back to East Texas to shoot this film. It's called "Something in the Woods" and is about an encounter with Bigfoot.

Another crew in Pittsburg is working on a web series called Dead Air. Director Jonathan Chauser says the cooperation with local government, and support of the community makes East Texas a prime  scene.
