Business News: Marketing for E-Cigarettes Dissected

(CNN)-  Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are taking a closer look at how electronic cigarettes are marketed, especially to kids.  The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation held a hearing Wednesday on "aggressive e-cigarette marketing and potential consequences for youth."  Experts called in to testify included the heads of several prominent campaigns to fight youth smoking, as well as the president of an e-cig manufacturer.  The FDA proposed strict regulations on e-cigarettes in April, but those rules are still being written.

(CBS)- When it comes to grading those you work with, how would you rank your supervisors?  Many Americans say they're actually happy with their bosses.  A careerbuilder survey asked employees to evaluate their manager's performance.  Most gave a passing grade with 24 percent saying their boss deserved an "A."  Only 5 percent gave out an "F".

(CNN)-  The job market is improving but it's still not spectacular. That's the main takeaway from the latest meeting of the federal reserve that wrapped up yesterday afternoon.  The big question is whether the fed will raise interest rates this year.  All the fed officials except one believe interest rates will remain at .25 percent through the end of the year.  Another bit of hopeful news for job seekers: the fed says its expecting the unemployment rate to fall to 6 percent by the end of the year.
