UPDATE: TYLER (KYTX)- On June 20, around 7:06 a.m., the Austin Bank located at 16909 Highway 155 South in Noonday was robbed by a black male suspect.
A Cadillac stolen from a bank employee was later recovered abandoned in the Cuney area in Cherokee County.
In cooperation with the Texas Bankers Association and other sources a $15,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons involved.

UPDATE (8:40 a.m.) - The suspect in this morning's bank robbery is described as a black male with a small build. He left the location with an undetermined amount of cash driving a 2009 white diamond colored Cadillac CTS, similar to the one in the photo. Anyone with any information on this robbery is asked to call the Smith County Sheriff's Office at 903-566-6600 or 911.
(FROM SMITH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE) - At 7:06 Friday morning, the Smith County Sheriff's Office Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a bank robbery at the Austin Bank, located at 16909 Highway 155 South. Multiple Smith County Sheriff's Office units are at the scene.
Right now, we are not sure if it happened outside or inside the bank. We have a crew headed to the scene. We'll pass along any additional information as we get it.
Late last night, the 2009 Cadillac stolen from the bank attendant during the robbery of Austin Bank last Friday, was recovered in northwestern Cherokee County near the city of Cuney. The vehicle had been abandoned on a Cherokee County road. The vehicle has been taken to a Smith County Sheriff's Office facility where it will be processed by the Smith County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit.
