EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - Good Wednesday morning!
Mostly cloudy again today - with another chance of several rounds of rain/thunderstorms today, especially this afternoon (50%). Rainfall rates, in the areas of stronger thunderstorms, will reach one to two inches per hour. And like yesterday, we'll see the potential for localized flooding across parts of East Texas.
Several weather features will continue moving slowly across East Texas over the next 24 hours. This will lead to another chance tomorrow of scattered showers and thunderstorms and again on Friday. As we head into the weekend, high pressure will build in from the southeast, reducing our rain chances to a 20% chance Saturday & Sunday. Highs today through Saturday in the upper 80's. Expect low-mid 90's next week.
Have a great midweek!
