Man Killed After Being Struck by Truck Wife was Driving

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- A Waco man is dead after being hit by a truck his wife had been driving.

Waco police officers were dispatched to Cumberland and N. 23rd on Sunday. There they found 37-year-old Jose Luis Medina in the roadway between Cumberland and Maple on N. 23rd.

He had been hit by a truck driven by Medina's wife Jocelyn Zepeda. Waco police say Zepeda claims she and her husband were having an argument when she decided to leave.

Waco police report it's believed Medina jumped on the side of the truck as Zepeda was leaving. He fell off the vehicle and was ran over.

Medina suffered serious injuries. He was transported to Hillcrest Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

This incident is still under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
