Morning clouds are forming across East Texas this morning. Once they burn off by mid-late morning, a mostly sunny day can be expected with highs reaching 93 this afternoon. More sunshine is in store for East Texas Tuesday and even hotter temps as the mercury climbs into the mid-90’s tomorrow and Wednesday.
Increasing clouds Wednesday, with a 20% chance of late day showers/thunderstorms as a cold front approaches from the north. This front will bring a better chance of rain to East Texas Thursday (30%), with lingering showers/thunderstorms possible on July 4th. Highs by the end of the week will be “cooler” - dropping into the upper 80’s Friday. A warming trend is expected this upcoming July 4th weekend with only isolated afternoon/evening thunderstorms.
Have a great Monday!
