Before you know it, fall will be here and it will be time to go back to school.  For parents that means stocking up on notebooks, number two pencils, and back to school clothes, all of which usually take a big chunk out of a family's budget.  So, just how much do parents will pay to send their kids off to school this year?More >>

(KCEN) -- Bryce Gray of Copperas Cove is your average 14-year-old. He loves his little brother and considers himself to be a pretty great golfer, but he's been through a lot over the past year...battling cancer. "I was in the hospital for six to eight months doing treatment...chemo," Bryce said.
But he's not alone this week. Out at Camp Dreamcatcher, they really are all in it together. For Emma Polster of Hamilton, it's a time to celebrate the end of her treatment for lymphoma. "The radiation lasted like every day for maybe a month," Emma said. Now she's onto conquering fears like zip lining.

The week-long camp hosted by Baylor Scott & White at Camp For All in Burton rotates kids through all kinds of activities, everything from rock climbing to ropes courses, but camp counselor Baudelio Segovia says it is so much more. "...in the real world, a lot of these kids feel a little bit different or a little bit inferior," Segovia said.
Segovia became a counselor for the first time back in 2008 after battling Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 17. "You can't talk to somebody who hasn't been through it the same way, you can't connect the same way," Segovia said. For 16 years, Camp Dreamcatcher has given kids the chance to have a little fun, but also bond with other kids who know exactly what they're going through. "It's easier to have people to talk to," Leukemia patient Reymond Rivas said. "It makes me feel more comfortable."
Something that seems simple, but means so much.
