Update: Blaze under control after Longview firefighters respond to fire on the West Loop

Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview Firefighters have contained a two-alarm fire at a commercial building on West Loop 281.

Fire crews will remain on the scene extinguishing any hot spots.

The fire is behind the Ashley Furniture store in Longview.

We have a crew on the scene who reports firefighters are still inside fighting the fire right now. The fire marshal says firefighters have made a substantial dent in the fire, but it is not out. We are told furniture and other commodities are stored inside the warehouse. Johnny Zackary tells CBS 19, "anytime there's a furniture fire, we are always concerned because of the number of combustibles."

No injuries are reported at this time.

Stay with cbs19.tv for more information on the fire.
