(CBS)- Wall street found some very good news to celebrate ahead of the July Fourth holiday, today. The labor department says 288,000 jobs were created in June, reducing the unemployment rate to 6.1 percent. This is the lowest in almost six years. That sent the Dow Jones industrial average to a record high, closing above 17,000 for the first time.
(CBS)- Foster Farms voluntarily agreed to recall chicken products produced in March, but could be in consumers freezers already and maybe a concern this 4th of July holiday. The recall products have an establishment number "P6137," P6137A" or "P7632" inside the USDA mark of inspection. It was produced at Central Valley Plants, including Fresno. The Food Safety and Inspection Service says the chicken is likely not being sold in stores anymore. The chicken products would have "use or freeze by" dates ranging from March 21st to March 29th. One person became ill after eating a boneless skinless chicken breast in May.
