Historic Planes stop in Tyler

Posted: Updated:

TYLER (KYTX)-Six different historic planes are on display at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum at the Tyler airport through tomorrow. CBS 19 got to take a ride in one of these world world two planes, the B-25 Devil Dog.

Planes like the Devil Dog, P-51 Mustang, and Skybolt will be on display at the museum until they depart for the Thunder Over Cedar Creek Air Show in Mabank tomorrow evening.

People can come take a look at all the planes and even fly in the same plane CBS 19 flew in today.

"You know you hear people talk about their bucket list, this should be on everybody's bucket list to ride one of this war birds because it is well well worth it," Historic Aviation Memorial Museum President Carolyn Verver said.

The show that these planes will be performing in is tomorrow night starting at 6:00 p.m.
