Early morning clouds, followed by mostly sunny & hot weather today. A bubble of high pressure centered to our west will continue to control our weather pattern here today and most of the day tomorrow. A weakness in the ridge will allow a weak cool front to approach the Red River valley tomorrow. Along with it, a 20% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms late tomorrow afternoon/night along and north of I-20. Northern counties north of I-30 will have the best chance for scattered showers/thunderstorms late Wednesday as the front stalls near the Red River.
Highs today should reach 93. Even hotter tomorrow ahead of the front as highs are expected to reach 94. High pressure will reassert itself this upcoming weekend bringing hot and mainly dry conditions to East Texas. Highs Friday - Sun should range from 95-97 degrees.
Have a great Tuesday!
