LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A worker injured in last week's sanitation truck crash in Longview is still in a local hospital.

Meanwhile, investigators are wondering if the driver of another vehicle ever hit its brakes when it rear-ended the truck.

A search warrant signed by 188th District Judge David Brabham suggests investigators want to know how fast Susan Skinner was driving her 2007 Toyota Corolla five seconds before her air bag deployed.

According to the warrant, Skinner told police she might have fallen asleep just before this June 30 wreck, and that she drank one beer three hours before the crash.

Police found open containers and a drug pipe in Skinner's car, and she admitted taking cocaine and vicodin days before the wreck.

She was treated and released from a local hospital, along with one of two workers who were loading trash onto the sanitation truck during the wreck.

Thirty-three-year-old Dennis Montgomery was pinned between Skinner's car and the truck. He's listed in serious condition today at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.
