EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - TGIF! A few morning clouds are moving south along the Red River counties of East Texas this AM.
All of the wet weather continues over Arkansas and Louisiana moving southeast. It will be dry today through the weekend - and hotter. Highs should reach the upper 90’s starting tomorrow. There is relief in sight - next week. A strong Canadian cold front will surge south of the U.S./Canadian border late Saturday, dropping into the central plains Sunday. The front will cross the Red River into East Texas on Tuesday more than likely, bringing with it a 30-40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs by middle of next week behind the front will struggle to hit 90.
Have a great weekend!
