Cow Appreciation day

Posted: Updated:

TYLER (KYTX)-If you've seen cow costumes around town today, it's because today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A.

Anyone who dressed up as a cow got a free meal at any of Chick-Fil-A's locations.

People got creative from wearing cow hats to full cow costumes.

Chick-Fil-A's cow mascot greeted the cows.

Chick-Fil-A has printable costumes on its website for anyone still wanting to join in on the fun.

"We wanted to get dressed up and have some fun and get some free food and we love Chick-Fil-A," "Cow" Jennifer Wood said.

Cow Appreciation Day is an annual event put on by all the Chick-Fil-A's nationwide. People dressed as a full cow get a free meal and anyone dressed as a partial cow gets a free entree. Chick-Fil-A is open for dinner.
