UPDATE: Suspect Identified as Stephen Lynn Timmons

UPDATE: GREGG CO. (KYTX)- The burglary that happened Friday, July 11, the suspect was identified as Stephen Lynn Timmons.

Timmons, who was already in the Gregg County Jail on an unrelated charge, was interviewed by Gregg County Sheriff’s Office Investigator David Falco.

Timmons admitted that he committed the Burglary at Smires Inc. Inv. Falco at this time added the charge of Burglary of a Building to Timmons arrest.


GREGG CO (KYTX) – The Gregg County Sheriff’s office is asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to a burglary Friday July 11, 2014.

Investigators report that between 12:15 am and 3:00 am, a burglary occurred at Smires Inc., 1400 W. Charles Duvall (Kilgore Loop).

A black male wearing a white cap, white shirt, white socks and dark shorts took a water pump and gas valued at $575.00.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white mid-90’s Buick Roadmaster. Attached are photos from surveillance cameras at the business.
