Palestine Police Seeking Two Burglary Suspects

PALESTINE (KYTX)- The Palestine Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying two suspects involved in a burglary of a building early Saturday morning.

On Saturday, July 20, at approximately 4:45 a.m., Palestine PD was dispatched to Hometown Pharmacy at 101 Medical Drive in regards to a burglary alarm.

Upon arrival, the responding officer observed a side door as beingunsecurede and pried open. No suspects were located on site during a search of the building. 

However, two males, both appearing to be heavy set, were captured on surveillance video during the commission of the offense. One of the subjects appeared to be carrying a long crow bar.

A full-size gray pickup was observed driving in the area several times prior to and immediately after the commission of the offense.

The loss from the offense is estimated to be over $3,000 according to the complainant.

Although the subjects were wearing hats and gloves, photographs of the subjects are being released in hopes that their features and clothing descriptions may trigger some recognition with the public.
