LOUIS, July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Each year, Novus recognizes one educator and one student scholar for their outstanding scientific contributions to the poultry industry, presenting the honorees with awards during the annual Poultry Science Association (PSA) scientific conference. Novus is proud to announce that Christine Alvarado, PhD, Poultry Processing and Products, and Robert F. Wideman, Jr., University of Arkansas, Center of Excellence for Poultry Science, are this year's award recipients. Novus presented the winners with their individual awards during the 2014 PSA event, held July 14-17 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
