Jerry Jones: No comment on 'misrepresented' photos

OXNARD, California (WFAA)— Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke to the media Sunday for the first time since those compromising pictures became public, and for one of the few times in his life, he had very little to say.

"Someone has misrepresented photos taken at a restaurant five years ago for their own purposes, so I'm just not going to comment on them," Jones said.

Besides confirming that the photos were taken at a Dallas restaurant, and confirming that he's known about them for five years, Jones had nothing else to say on the matter. He responded to several follow-up questions by answering with one or another form of "I'm not going to comment."

Jones wasn't on the field before Thursday's preseason opener in San Diego, and he didn't meet with the media afterward in the locker room, which was very unlike him.

Jones had a pesky cough throughout the rest of his interview, and at one point joked, "That's why I hadn't been talking to you guys," which got a big laugh from the media.
