Violent protests rage in Missouri

Posted: Updated:
(CBS) - Another violent night in suburban St. Louis, where people are upset following the shooting of 18 year old Michael Brown.

Police in Ferguson, MO lobbed tear gas at protesters for a fourth night-- after the crowd became unruly.  Earlier in the day, the police chief asked protesters to confine their demonstrations to daylight hours--they responded with peaceful marches.  People in Ferguson still are demanding to know the identity of the officer who killed Brown on Saturday.

Witnesses say the unarmed teen's hands were up when he was shot.

"We will interview and talk to anybody who had anything to say about this."

Officials so far are not releasing the officer's name. The county prosecutor says all evidence will be presented  to a grand jury.  McCulloch also said there is no timetable set for the shooting investigation.
