
Albert Bruhn /Weekend Weather

Born in Gladewater, Albert has lived in East Texas his entire life. He has always been intrigued with East Texas weather. His weather career began in 1978 when he received his Certificate of Authority to Take Weather Observations for the National Weather Service in Fort Worth and working at Tyler's Pounds Field Regional Airport.
Albert also has extensive radio experience. He began working as a radio forecaster for a Longview and Tyler radio station in 1994. In addition to his local weather experience, Albert completed his study in meteorology completing the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University in 2000.
In addition to his weather experience and education, Albert received his bachelors and masters degrees in Speech Communication from the University of Texas at Tyler. He has been teaching communication classes over the last 13 years as an adjunct instructor at UT Tyler for the Communication Department.
Finally, Albert says he is working with the best group of people anywhere, "They are simply the best."
