Lexie Hudson joined the CBS19 News Team as a multi-skilled journalist in August 2017. She is originally from Wylie, Texas where she grew up an only child, with an exception of her six four-legged brothers and sisters.
Lexie recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism and is a proud first generation Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2017. While pursuing her college career, Lexie took part in the Student Experience program with Sony at the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While in school, Lexie was heavily involved with TexAgs an Aggie sports based website where she created content such as video highlights, interviews, and analysis of Texas A&M softball, she was also an on-air radio personality and co-producer on TexAgs radio.
Growing up around rescued dogs, that most of the time she brought home, Lexie has a passion for supporting animal rescue organizations.
Aside from work, Lexie enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out and finding new adventures. If it involves food or animals, you’ll probably find her close by.
Although, Lexie holds a stature of 4’10, she believes there’s nothing too big in life she can’t handle.
